About Granby, CT: Rural Granby is beautiful and charming. There are a lot of farms including my favorite, The Garlic Farm, in West Granby that grows organic garlic and other produce. Also notable is the McLean Game Refuge, 4,300 acres across Granby, Simsbury, and Canton whose purpose is to maintain the natural beauty of the land. It's great for walking, horse back riding, or cross country skiing the trails. There are some tasteful newer subdivisions tucked away into the hills as to respect and preserve the natural beauty of the town. There is even a 400-year-old oak tree called the Granby-Dewey Oak!
